“After having Zora overnight for 2 weeks, I feel like myself again. My daughter, C, was 4 months old when we met Zora. C was labeled as “difficult” “hyper sensitive” or having “colic.” C cried a lot as if she was in pain, didn’t sleep as much as “the books” said she should and refused a bottle. Even with maternity leave and a supportive partner, I was completely exhausted and breaking emotionally. Zora didn’t focus on labeling C or trying to “fix” her. Instead, Zora found what worked for us. After Zora’s first night with us I could tell C felt safe and comfortable with her, so I was able to let go of my worry and sleep soundly knowing Zora would get me if C needed me. Zora gave me something I didn’t think was possible for me as a breastfeeding mother whose child won’t take the bottle, peace of mind and hours of REM sleep. Even if you can only afford it for a week, hire her. It will be worth it.”

“Zora helped me with my newborn at night for about 3 weeks. She deferred to any request (no matter how odd) it was. She was very gentle with our little one who had bad reflux as well as an occasional “witching” hour. She helped us with nursing and bottle feeding as well baths. She had a calming presence in the house and afforded me to get some much needed sleep (and encouragement).”

“Zora is warm, kind, and everything you want in someone taking care of your precious little ones! We are lucky to have been able to work with Zora for both our children and couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Zora understands how to gently guide and support new families with infant development, bonding and self-care during those magical, incredible, exhausting days when you are thinking 'Oh my gosh they sent me home with a BABY!!! How do I do this?!'”

“Where to begin… Zora was our daytime doula for 6 weeks and the whole experience was so positive. I struggled a lot with PPA after my first baby was born but this time around was the complete opposite.

She started spending time with me and baby at the hospital after a scheduled c section. She was flexible with her schedule and calm and didn’t need me to tell her how to help, she just knew what to do. She did everything from small things like always making sure I had water to drink—to big things like dealing with my 2 year old toddler (who loves her).. she helped keeping things tidy and folded clothes beautifully. Having emotional support by someone who gets you was a game changer.

Definitely recommending Zora to anyone looking for a doula, the GOAT of doulas!”

“We’re so thankful for Zora’s support during the early weeks postpartum. There is a real ease to Zora’s presence. She’s incredibly intuitive to others’ needs and provided wonderful care to our whole family. We consider Zora’s support to have been a real investment that helped us navigate our baby’s early days much better than had we tackled things on our own.”

“Zora was our post partum doula for 8 weeks. She was wonderful in every way. She cared for our newborn, supported us as parents and charmed our older kids.”

“Zora was like a Mary Poppins for me when I came home from the hospital with my newborn baby. She exudes so much calm and love in caring for both mom and baby. I have recommended her to all my friends with new babies. I really cannot recommend her highly enough and am forever grateful to her for helping ease me into motherhood.”

“I wholeheartedly recommend Zora as a postpartum doula. She found her true calling and is an invaluable asset to any family lucky enough to book her. She was with our family for the birth of our second baby and made an incredible difference during those first few weeks.

I didn’t have the best experience with our first postpartum doula which is why I searched early and thoroughly this time around. I knew from the very first phone call with her that she was the one and that my search was over.

One of the qualities that truly sets Zora apart is her incredible intuition to the needs of both the baby and mother. She took time to understand our preferences and adapted her support accordingly, creating a nurturing and supportive environment that helped both myself and my husband feel at ease.

She was always one step ahead in anticipating our needs, which took the mental load off so I could rest and recover peacefully. I’m a second time mom but she still offered invaluable advice on establishing a healthy sleep routine, which made a significant difference in our baby’s sleep patterns as well as our own.

She has extensive knowledge of infant care, including safe sleep practices, breastfeeding support, and techniques for soothing and bonding. Her expertise and guidance gave us confidence knowing our newborn was in safe and loving hands. She is a natural baby whisperer!

Beyond her professional skill, Zora has a natural warmth and friendliness that made her feel like part of our family. Our two year old son loved her and she gave him plenty of attention so he always felt included which I think helped with the adjustment.

We loved having her around so much that we had her come help out during the day for a few weeks as well!

Her patience, discretion, and genuine empathy were a tremendous comfort during those early, often overwhelming, weeks of parenthood. I’m convinced she’s one of the main reasons why I actually enjoyed the first weeks postpartum this time. Zora will absolutely be the very first call I make if we ever have another baby!”

We hired Zora when we realized our sleep-deprived brains were in desperate need of a calm, guiding hand. From the moment she stepped in, her serene and supportive nature put us at ease. By our third child, we thought we were experienced, but Zora not only helped us see the obvious (but easily missed) solutions to common baby trouble-shooting issues but also uncovered creative new ones with her gentle probing and deep insight. Her knowledgeable care made our first nights at home—and the first eight weeks with our baby—so much smoother. She always had a detailed report out in the morning so we knew what had transpired, and helped keep the kitchen organized and lactation cookies baking :)  Knowing that your newborn is well cared for, so you can rest, is priceless. If you're looking for a doula who can truly take over when you need help most, we can’t recommend Zora enough. Her presence and genuine care transformed our experience, and we’re forever grateful.
